Diamond Bandeau Tiara - (Belgium)
This tiara was made for Queen Elisabeth in the beginning of the twentieth century. It is an art deco piece with diamonds.
This is one tiara that is regularly seen and can also be worn as a necklace. In 1999 it was loaned to Princess Mathilde for her wedding.
Princess Mathilde’s Laurel Wreath Tiara
Description: The tiara is what many like to call traditional, it contains over 631 diamonds and is shaped in the image of laurel wreath. The tiara can be removed from its frame and be turned into a necklace.
History: The tiara was created in 1912, by London jewellers Hennel & Sons. It was given to Princess Mathilde by members of the Belgian nobility as a gift on her upcoming marriage to Prince Philippe in 1999. Mathilde a member of the Belgian nobility is expected to be the first Belgian born Queen consort. The tiara also happens to be the only tiara owned by Princess Mathilde.
